Terms of Service

Last updated October 14, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and FlexiLiiga. They say what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. We've tried to keep them short and in plain language.

01

The agreement

Who you're agreeing with

FlexiLiiga is run by a private individual in Finland ("we", "us"). FlexiLiiga isn't a company yet. When it becomes one, these terms will be updated with the company's details.

Accepting the terms

You accept these terms when you create an account. The league rules are part of these terms, and the Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data. If you don't accept the terms, please don't use FlexiLiiga.

The service

What FlexiLiiga does

FlexiLiiga runs leagues for racket sports. We place you in a division with players of a similar level, create your matches for each round, and give you tools to schedule them, talk to your opponents and report results.

What we don't do

We don't book courts, supervise matches or provide coaching, equipment or venues. You arrange your matches with your opponents, and any court booking or payment is an agreement between you, the other players and the venue. We are not a party to it.

03

Your account

Who can join

You must be at least 15 years old and able to take part in the sport you sign up for. Each person may have only one account.

Honest details

Use your real name and birthdate, and keep your contact details up to date. Other players need to know who they're playing against.

Keeping it safe

Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account. If you think someone else has used it, tell us straight away.

Price

FlexiLiiga is free for now

Taking part in the leagues is currently free of charge. Court fees and equipment are not included: players pay those themselves, as described in the league rules.

If we start charging

We may introduce paid leagues or features later. We'll tell you well in advance, and you'll never be charged without separately agreeing to pay. The prices and payment terms will be shown before you agree.

League rules and fair play

Follow the rules

When you play in a league, you agree to follow the league rules: schedule your matches in time, play them in the right format, report results honestly and treat other players with respect.

Referees' decisions

Our referees decide unplayed matches and disputes about results. Their decision is final within FlexiLiiga. It doesn't affect your rights under the law.

When using FlexiLiiga, you must not:

  • harass, threaten, discriminate against or insult other players, in messages or in person,

  • pretend to be someone else, or create accounts for other people,
  • send spam or advertising, or use other players' details for anything other than playing your matches,

  • copy data from the service with automated tools, or try to break into it, overload it or get around its limits.

Your content

What you post stays yours

You keep the rights to what you add to FlexiLiiga, such as your profile picture and messages. You give us permission to store and show it in the service, as far as needed to run FlexiLiiga. This permission ends when the content is deleted.

Removing content

We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

What's ours

The FlexiLiiga name, logo, design and software belong to us. You may use the service as intended, but not copy or reuse them without our permission.

Playing matches

You play at your own risk

Sport always carries some risk of injury. Make sure your health allows you to play, warm up properly, and follow the venue's rules. FlexiLiiga doesn't insure players, so check that you have your own accident or sports insurance if you want cover.

Other players and venues

We don't check other players' identity or background, and we aren't responsible for how they behave or for the condition of venues. If something goes wrong, tell us, and in an emergency contact the authorities (112).

Availability and changes

The service as it is

We do our best to keep FlexiLiiga working and your data safe, but we can't promise that the service will always be available or free of errors. There may be breaks, for example for maintenance.

Changing the service

We may develop, change or remove features, and change how leagues are organised. If we decide to close FlexiLiiga entirely, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance.

Liability

What we're responsible for

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect damage, such as lost court fees or lost time, for breaks in the service, or for anything that happens between players or at venues.

Your rights under the law

Nothing in these terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or any other rights that you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Ending the agreement

If you want to leave

You can stop using FlexiLiiga at any time. To delete your account, email [email protected] or use the contact page. The Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.

If you break the terms

If you break these terms or the league rules, we may warn you, pause you, remove you from a league or close your account. Usually we warn you first, but for serious breaches, such as threats or harassment, we may act immediately.

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland.

If we disagree
